NXT Combat respects your privacy. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and what rights you have.

1. Who we are

NXT Combat is a fighter and event platform for combat sports events, fighter profiles, event registration, check-in, matchmaking, event communication and live event information.

2. What personal data we collect

We may collect and process the following data:

- Account details: name, e-mail address and password.
- Fighter profile details: first name, last name, date of birth, gender, phone number, country, weight, height and sports experience.
- Event data: event registrations, interest in events, check-in status and event attendance.
- Media: profile photos, fight card photos and event-related images or videos that you upload or that are uploaded by NXT Combat.
- Communication data: messages in event chats, contact form messages and e-mail preferences.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, login moments and security logs.

3. Why we use your data

We use your data to:

- create and manage your fighter account;
- review and approve fighter profiles;
- allow fighters to register for events;
- manage event check-in;
- show relevant event information to fighters;
- create fight cards, match lists and live event displays;
- allow event communication between fighters, crew and hosts;
- send account, event and service e-mails;
- improve and secure the platform.

4. Legal basis

We process your data based on:

- your consent, for example for promotional e-mails and optional public profile visibility;
- performance of a service, for example when you create an account or register for an event;
- legitimate interest, for example platform security, event organisation and communication;
- legal obligations, where applicable.

5. Public visibility

Some profile or event information may be shown to other users or publicly, depending on your settings and the event context.

Your approved profile photo is only shown according to the visibility option you choose:
- only me;
- me and NXT Combat;
- logged-in users.

Fight card photos and event media are reviewed by NXT Combat before use.

6. Event chat

If you join or show interest in an event, you may get access to the event chat. Messages in event chats are visible to eligible fighters, crew and event hosts. Host messages may be marked as official updates.

7. Sharing data

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited data with:
- event crew or hosting organisations, where needed for event management;
- technical service providers such as hosting, e-mail and storage providers;
- legal authorities if required by law.

8. International transfers

If we use service providers outside the European Economic Area, we take appropriate safeguards where required by the GDPR.

9. How long we keep data

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes described above.

Account and fighter profile data is kept while your account exists. Event data may be kept for event administration, history and safety. You may request deletion of your profile, unless we must keep certain data for legal or legitimate reasons.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unauthorised changes.

11. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

- access your personal data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data;
- restrict processing;
- object to certain processing;
- request data portability;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

12. E-mails

You may receive service e-mails about your account, profile approval, events and check-in. Promotional e-mails are only sent if you opted in, and you can opt out again.

13. Cookies

NXT Combat may use necessary cookies for login, security and basic website functionality. If we add analytics or marketing cookies later, this policy will be updated.

14. Changes

We may update this privacy policy. The latest version will always be available on this website.
